Thanksgiving at the park with the Aker family! Good times!

Kite preparations!

Thanksgiving feast at school!
Nathan made his own pie!

Grant and I went down to watch the girls at their school Jingle Jog! Basically they buy bells from the school and tie them to there shoes and run around on the field. I guess it at least got them out of doing class work! :)

DISNEYLAND 2010!!!!!!

Santa's Reindeer were pretty fun to see.

Watching fireworks.
Tantrum TiMe!

Emily went to the Jedi Training also and was able to fight Darth Vader!
Grant was a little intimidated.
Darth Maul decided to walk right up to Kami and stare at her for a few second. Yikes!
Nathan's FaVoRiTE part... Jedi Training. He also got to fight Darth Vader!

So much fun with the family! It was fantastic only having to pay $70 for all of us to go to Disneyland. The kids had a blast and one day was plenty for the us! Good times!

FiNaLLy!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe it! After years of frustration and fighting with Franklin we are finally getting help for Emily from her new school. I cannot believe how supportive and on top of it they have been. They call at least once a week just to keep in touch and keep us updated on the progress of the process. They are trying to push and get her evaluation done before fall break. I am so angry with myself for keeping her at Franklin for as long as I did. Emily's teacher is AMAzInG! She has been making modifications for Emily and we have already seen an improvement in her self esteem and excitement about learning! We have been so blessed. I am sooo grateful to have been lead to the situation we are in right now!

SIgNeD On HoUsE ToDaY and LiViNg with Papa and GraNdMa begin... again!!

Today was a bittersweet day. We signed papers on our house. We never in a million years thought that we would be able to purchase a house with land! It is very exciting but at the same time I'm very said to see us leaving our first home. It is full of memories everywhere I turn. I guess it is the same reason why I have a hard time getting rid of my kids clothes. It's not that they are clothes... it is the reminder of the memories of the kids. I LOVE the stage of life I am at right now with kids all between 2-8 years old but I miss my little kids at the same time. I absolutely love being a MoTheR and am so grateful to have a husband who loves us enough to get up every morning at 3:30 to go to work so I can stay home with our children! I am so blessed!

Thanks so much to all who have already helped with the house makeover process! You guys are the best!

So life with Grandma and Grandpa begin while renovating our house. The kids are on cloud 9!

HaPpy 4th BiRthDay NaThaN!

We had such a fun day with Nathan on his birthday (July 13th)! He woke up and opened up his presents from us. He is into Indiana Jones right now! He wanted a hat and the whip that made noise. He loved it! He got to choose what we had for breakfast and he wanted cereal. That was easy enough for me:)! They don't get it very often so it was a fun treat for him. After that he decided that he wanted to go to the store and pick out a toy. He ended up picking out a Lego Star Wars set. Bonus for me... it was on clearance! The kids had a blast looking up and down the aisles full of toys. When we got home we frosted his cupcakes and then spent the next two hours putting his Lego set together. Then it was time for Peter Piper Pizza with the family! Nathan is such a blessing and joy to have in our home! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful little man!

Grant had a rough day. Nathan was nice to let Grant play with his whip and hat every now and then but when it came time to re-claiming them... Grant was not a happy camper!

Even the big boys had fun at Peter Piper Pizza!
