I JUST LOVE BEING A MOTHER!

I wish I was way better about keeping up on this. I look back at pictures and it is amazing how much we forget with time passing. Well today was the first time my little Grant said "I Love You". I have been working with him over and over on this and he is one stubborn kid. He is the type of kid that 9 times out of 10 he does not want to give a kiss and he will not budge. He will just shake his head no so I was really excited when he said I love you today!
Also... last week I had woken up to Kami in my room saying her prayers by my bed. She has said "please help us follow your rules so that we can live with You"! Then that night she asked "please bless us to have faith, bless us to be kind, bless us to keep the commandments". It is one of the most exciting things when you can see your children growing spiritually and actually starting to understand the gospel. Then at lunch, Grant decided to fold his arms all on his own when he noticed that we were blessing the food. I love it! It was one of those days were I had felt like I had done something right. I was on cloud 9 all day! The kids did actually listen to something we had been trying to teach them.

Happy 9th Anniversary!

Yes... today is our 9th anniversary! I can't believe 9 years. We are getting so old. This weekend Rob and I went up to Snowflake. I am so bummed because I forgot my camera. We left Friday morning. Boy did I have a hard time leaving. I don't know why but I am the biggest baby when it comes to leaving my kids. We were even coming back the next day but for some reason it was difficult for me. It was the first time leaving Grant over night. We got up there and went to the temple. After that we went out to dinner and then went to a movie. We were amazed and how much we were able to get done in one day! It was a blast to just spend time together as a couple. The beautiful weather was also a bonus. Thanks Papa and Grandma for taking such good care of the kids! Hope you enjoyed all of the stories the kids told you! LOL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Today was also Daddy's birthday. We had a busy busy day! We ended up going out to dinner tonight with his parents. Aunt Jennifer and her kids watched our kids so we could have a nice relaxing night. Thanks a bunch and Happy 31st Birthday Daddy!

When Kami realized I would be leaving her... she started the crying! She looked at me like I was a rotten mom. She did great though. Anna is in Kami's class this year. How fun! When I picked Kami up she said she had a great day and wanted to go back!

Emily did great! No problems at all. Tanner (who was our carpool buddy last year) is in her class this year. They were so excited!

The girls first day of school was exciting! Kami got up and got dressed with no problems. She was so excited until we got to school. Then she started to get a little quiet when she saw all of the people.

The kids rode around on the quad and dirt bike for hours. They added on their own little train!

We had such a blast camping this past weekend with the Rowleys. Saturday we went to a parade and the kids had an awesome time. It was fun seeing all of the floats and fun different things they came up with in the parade. Nothing like small towns!

I am playing catch up. Can't forget about Emm. I cannot believe she is 7 years old! She wanted a friend party this year. They had a blast thanks to aunt Danielle letting us use her big water slide!
