OK. So this happened a little while ago. Umm, like before Thanksgiving. Miss Emily signed up for the hula hooping contest at school. Some of us moms ended up going down to the school to watch and support the kids. We figured it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes max. We were all wrong. After an hour of continuous hooping from the kids, they finally called it quits and those who were still going were the winners! I could believe these little kids and what an awesome job they did! Kami decided to run in the Turkey Waddle at the school. She did a great job and we were proud of her!

This picture just reminded me of what Grant had done. Nathan was getting a little excited and tried to get my attention while we were driving in the car. He told be that Grant was picking the stuff off of the bottom of his shoe and tasting it. Then later the same day... Grant decided to go to the bathroom in the toilet. When he was done he blotted himself and then decided to wipe his nose right after with the same piece of toilet paper! He is just ALL BOY!

Spring break time so we thought we would go to the zoo! There was a total of 10 kids so it was a little difficult to keep track of all of them. I am so glad that Danielle was a smartie and had the brilliant idea of taping our cell phone #'s to each of the kids' shirts before we went in. We definitely kept a close watch on the little ones but somehow Kami got lost in the shuffle while heading over to the petting zoo. Needless to say I started to get really worried after I looked around for her and could not find her. As soon as I took my phone out to call Rob it rang and it was a lady that had found Kami and called me because the number was on her shirt. What a relief! We still had a blast. Thanks goodness for family!

Kami's Field Trip!

We had such a blast! It is awesome that Kami has her cousin Anna in her class and then Maria and I were able to go along with the group. We went to Superstition Farms. The kids went on a hay ride, had chocolate milk, and ice cream from the cows. I think the most exciting part for all of the kids was riding the bus to and from the farm!

What an awesome day! I LOVE days like this when it is raining outside and I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom! I have been horrible about posting and have missed out on many opportunities to record memories. Hopefully that will change. Grant decided to play with his tools (for a few minutes) and then he was on to following me around to help with EVERYTHING!

Kami's Birthday! The BIG 6

Kami is totally growing up. I can't believe it... I do not have little girls anymore. She is such a joy to have in our family and is such an awesome help (especially with Grant). She is going to be a great mom! I bought her the shirt with a cupcake on it because she is all about the sweets! Since before Thanksgiving she had her birthday planned and it was going to be at her aunt Rebecca and uncle Matt's house. We did one on her birthday at home and then had a separate special party at there house for her. Uncle Matt made homemade pizza, we played the Wii, and had fun outside! She was spoiled this year with all of the parties she got and also went to Build-a-Bear a couple of time. What a blast!

SPRING GARDEN TIME!!!!

Wow... I have been horrible at keeping up on posting. Well here it goes! I love get ready for spring time. We always have such a blast (and a ton of work) getting the garden ready. The kids were easily entertained with the garbage can. Needless to say it was shower time right after! The chickens were also a help by eating the leftovers from the garden. ;)
